Join Valley Sport for this free online interactive workshop featuring leading child safety expert Sam Dellamarta.Building on the conversations from our Child Safety in Sport podcast series, this practical workshop will provide clubs with a deeper understanding of the Child Safe Standards, legal responsibilities, governance expectations, and the everyday actions that help create safer sporting environments.
Unlike a traditional webinar, this session is designed to be interactive. Clubs are encouraged to bring their own questions, discuss real-world scenarios, and receive practical advice directly from one of Australia's leading experts in child safeguarding within community sport.

Understanding your club's legal child safety obligations
Embedding child safety into club culture
Developing effective policies and procedures
Managing concerns, complaints, and reporting requirements
Practical strategies to reduce risk at the grassroots level

This workshop is free to attend and will be delivered online, making it easy for clubs from across the region to participate.
