A variety of techniques will be demonstrated at this informative event by our presenters:
Angie Gullo: “Finishing, Techniques and Nice Effects made simply”. Lots of tips for achieving patterning using a manual machine as well as advice on finishing garments and fabric.

Angie will be using an LK150 for her demonstration.

Fay Butcher: “How To use Dress Yarns”.
Have you wondered how yarns such as Boucle, Crepe, Neplon can be made into interesting and durable fabrics? Perhaps you acquired some second hand and have no idea what to do with it, or perhaps you would like some new inspiration to see how techniques can be used and adapted.

Fay will be demonstrating on a Passap machine, which will be very interesting for those that have not had an opportunity to see one in action.

About our presenters
Angie is a long-term machine knitter with a wide range of experience with all machines. Angie took even on commercial knitting for Ann McKay in order to gain more experience in this field. She has a vast knowledge of most machines from a technical as well as a knitting point if view.
Fay has been around since before the beginning of Macknit. She spent many years as a Passap demonstrator and dealer and has her own club in Berala focussed on Passap machines.

Tea and coffee included for attendees.

About the venue: Carnarvon Golf club is an easily accessible building with level floors and no stairs. The club sells a range of Australian/Chinese meals, starters, snacks and beverages
