Dr Yousef Khoury in conversation with Dr Stephen Pickard
Dr Yousef Khoury is a Christian Palestinian theologian who was raised in Gaza, where his family still remains. He brings a vital, lived perspective to the intersection of faith, justice, and peacebuilding. He currently serves as Academic Dean & Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies at Bethlehem Bible College.
Dr Khoury is visiting Australia for a national speaking tour titled "Bearing Witness: Palestinian Christian Voices. How can Christians Support a Just Peace in the Holy Land?".
The tour is being organised by Palestinian Christians in Australia, sponsored by the National Council of Churches Australia and supported by the Palestine Israel Ecumenical Network and Friends of Sabeel Australia.
Dr Khoury will be in conversation with Dr Stephen Pickard, a retired Anglican Bishop and former Executive Director of the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture Charles Sturt University, where he continues as an adjunct Professor of Theology.
There will be a Q&A session after the conversation, followed by a light buffet meal featuring Palestinian cuisine.
