King of the Ranges 2026 Stockman's Challenge & Bush Festival
Join us for the 2026 King of the Ranges Stockman's Challenge & Bush Festival on 25, 26 and 27 of September.
Held in the quiet rural town of Murrurundi, we are surrounded by the gorgeous Great Dividing Range and the prosperous Upper Hunter Valley.
This event celebrates the disappearing bush traditions that were engrained in our rural way of life. It's a connection to land, a rich culture, and a true blue, Aussie spirit that we are trying to preserve through a Challenge and Bush Festival.
The King of the Ranges Stockman's Challenge tests the skill, grit and relationship of horse and rider over 3 full days of competition and horsemanship.
The Bush Festival rounds out the program with all the fun and entertainment you need, including live music, shows, market stalls, the delicious Stockman's Supper, competitions and displays, good food and billy goat races for the kids, just to name a few. Come along for an enjoyable weekend and find out who will be our 2026 King and Queen of the Ranges.
