Kicking off this very special event is the brilliant Ricki Wood. Ricki crafts songs that feel instantly grounded, earthy, and familiar. Drawing heavily from the rich traditions of Americana, Country, and Folk, he is a storyteller who writes from the hip and sings from the soul.

Hazel and Ricki met through the local music community. As a fellow traveler who has seen more of this beautiful country than almost anyone else, he shares a deep connection with Hazel's music—so much so that he even stepped in as one of her "Thieves" on bass at the recent Tamworth Country Music Festival!
