The Farm Business Resilience Program invites you along from mid-morning in the paddock with two soil pits to view, results been discussed and regional soil formation explained by Andrew Biggs, Senior Land Resource Officer • Land Resource Assessment and Science from Department of Land Resource Assessment and Science along with DPI staff.The aim of the day is to discuss the importance of soil structure, identify soil constraints, and management options for growing crops and cover.
Finishing with informal discussions about all things soil related. The day will start with a morning tea at 10am and also include a lunch. please rsvp for catering purposes.
Please note There are two days this event between Yelarbon and Inglewood over the Macintyre Brook on Wednesday 8th of July, the following day a second set of soil pits to view between Texas and Bonshaw on the QLD side of the river the following day, Thursday 9th of July. You are Welcome to go to both or pick the day that best suits you. Please register separately for the specific day(s).
