About
Where Deaf Teens and Science Meet!Head to our Joondalup campus for a day of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM), for Deaf and Hard of Hearing teenagers in high school. Auslan interpreters will be provided for the event. Please let us know if you have any other accessibility or communication requirements.
Teachers, please book the appropriate amount of tickets for the number of students you are bringing on the day.
Thanks to grants from Inspiring Australia and National Science Week, this event is free for all Deaf and Hard of Hearing teenagers to attend, although places are limited. We can support with some bus subsidies, contact us to arrange.
SCIENCE CONTENT
This event will have interactive workshops featuring Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths (STEM) components. We're still working on a timetable, so please let us know your favourite kinds of STEM so we can try to cater to all of your interests.
There will be a lunch break, please bring your lunch or purchase from cafes on campus.
