About
Living near Bribie Island's stunning native bushland means our backyards have a major impact. Join local botanist Ben Timmings for an insightful morning talk uncovering common garden "villains"—popular plants that easily escape and overtake native ecosystems. Discover beautiful, endemic alternatives that thrive locally, support biodiversity, and invite colorful birds and wildlife into your yard.Plus, Peter Schinkle from the Bribie Garden Centre will be on hand to answer all your tricky gardening questions.
Learn how to transform your outdoor space into a thriving island sanctuary while protecting our unique heritage.
This session is absolutely perfect for every local green thumb!
