Ideal for new graduates and those with less than five years of experience in practice, the Clinical Foundation Series is a new initiative from SASH, featuring a monthly and comprehensive rotation of subject matter experts across the country's broadest range of disciplines. Over the course of a year, you can expect to get a better understanding of the vast majority of small animal veterinary disciplines. Aimed to demystify, upskill, and build confidence in areas that may not be covered in during your university studies.

Our first workshop features Dr Clara Goh, Specialist Surgeon and former teaching faculty member of orthopaedic surgery at the prestigious Colorado State University. Dr Clara, joined by other members of the SASH specialist Surgery team will aim to Demystify Orthopaedic Radiographs. This workshop will include:
*Interpretation of hip and stifle radiographs
*Measuring tibial plateau angles
*Assessing hip dysplasia

In addition to didactic learning, you will undertake hands-on activities and receive small group tuition from leading SASH Specialist Surgeons.

This session will be offered in a hybrid format, where a limited number of face-to-face spots will be offered on a first come first serve basis. To extract the most from the planned workshop, we encourage face-to-face attendance in order for our Specialist Surgeons to provide tuition. For those that are unable to attend in person, you can tune in by Zoom livestream.
