About the presenters
Amanda Forbes is a Clinical Nurse Consultant with Northern NSW Local Health District and works as the Intellectual Disability Outreach Clinician. She holds a Master of Mental Health Nursing and has experience in mental health and disaster recovery. She supports people with complex needs through person-centred, evidence-based care, with a focus on intellectual disability, mental health, and equitable access to healthcare.Her work spans service development, multidisciplinary collaboration, advocacy, workforce capability, and inclusive, trauma-informed care.
Denise Robinson is a Registered Nurse and experienced NDIS Support Coordinator with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for people with disability. Drawing on her clinical nursing background and extensive experience within the disability sector, Denise supports participants to navigate complex systems, access appropriate services, and build sustainable support networks.
