Lucy Wise creates music that gently opens a door you didn’t realise was closed.Blending contemporary folk with pop-inflected melodies, intricate guitar work and poetic lyricism, Lucy’s songs make space for reflection on longing, connection and the inner lives we carry. Based in Central Victoria, Lucy has spent over 15 years building a career defined by craft, curiosity and emotional honesty.
Her forthcoming record ‘Salt’ is inspired by artists such as Joni Mitchell and Madison Cunningham, sitting comfortably between the intimacy of traditional folk and the clarity of modern pop.
A seasoned performer, she has toured extensively across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and the US, and appeared at festivals including Woodford, Port Fairy and the National Folk Festival. Her work has earned multiple accolades, including Solo Artist of the Year at the 2024 Australian Folk Music Awards.
