Austral Salon of Music proudly presents a Young Artists' Piano Recital featuring two of Australia's most extraordinary young pianists.Experience an afternoon of exceptional music-making as Caitlin Au (12) performs Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 13 in C major, K.415, and Jacqueline Wang (11) performs Chopin's Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor, Op. 21.
Both artists study with Professor Glenn Riddle at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music and have already earned remarkable national and international recognition. Caitlin is the winner of Australia's prestigious National Junior Piano Competition ("The Little Lev") and has received awards in Poland, Vietnam and Japan.
Jacqueline has performed as concerto soloist with orchestras in Australia, Italy, Indonesia and Russia and has been recognised at leading international competitions across Europe and Asia.
Both young pianists have achieved the Licentiate in Music Australia (LMusA) with Distinction at an exceptionally young age, reflecting musicianship, artistry and technical brilliance well beyond their years.
