Join Dr Niall Quigley for a comprehensive three-day intensive course on the diagnosis and management of tooth wear in general dental practice.
Held over two days of structured lectures followed by a full day of hands-on training, this programme combines evidence-based principles with practical clinical techniques that can be implemented immediately in everyday practice.
The course focuses on the complete management of tooth wear—from diagnosis and treatment planning through to direct and indirect rehabilitation—while emphasising practical decision-making, treatment sequencing and long-term maintenance.
Rather than presenting idealised outcomes alone, the programme features honest, case-based discussion of real patients, including treatment successes, complications and long-term follow-up. Delegates will gain insight into what works, what doesn't, and how treatment planning, execution and material selection influence long-term clinical outcomes.
Small Group Format
To maximise interaction and individual learning, delegate numbers are strictly limited to 16 participants.
This small-group environment encourages discussion, detailed questioning and individual case planning, ensuring every delegate receives meaningful clinician-to-clinician interaction throughout the programme.
The aim is that every participant leaves with a practical framework for confidently diagnosing, planning and managing tooth wear cases in their own practice.

The programme will cover:
Diagnosis and aetiology of tooth wear
Treatment planning and patient communication
Determining when to treat, how much to treat and when not to intervene
Occlusal concepts relevant to tooth wear management
Material science and material selection
Adhesive protocols for predictable long-term success
Management of localised anterior tooth wear, including the Dahl concept
Management of localised posterior tooth wear (posterior Dahl)
Management of unilateral and generalised tooth wear
Direct and indirect full-mouth rehabilitation
Digital Smile Design and digital workflows
Injectable composite techniques
Clinical photography
Freehand composite techniques
Finishing, polishing and maintenance
Long-term maintenance strategies, including clinical follow-up exceeding 10 years
Hands-On Practical Session
The course will be conducted in the ADC Warriors Academy, with the hands-on training happening in the purpose-built clinical training facility using individual phantom-head workstations.
Delegates will complete a series of practical exercises covering contemporary adhesive protocols, anterior composite build-ups, morphology, contouring, finishing and polishing, while applying the clinical workflows discussed throughout the lecture programme.

All phantom heads, typodont models and clinical equipment will be provided.
Post-Course Support
Learning doesn't end when the course finishes. Delegates will have access to ongoing mentoring, with opportunities for case discussion, troubleshooting and continued clinical development as they begin treating their own tooth wear cases.
