ECU EMCR Symposium 2026

Join ECU's research community to celebrate the achievements, aspirations and impact of ECU Early and Mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs). Early and Mid-Career Researchers (EMCRs) are emerging researchers up to 15 years post-PhD and are the universities future scientific and research leaders.

The Symposium will showcase innovative research that is driving discovery and advancing knowledge across a diverse range of disciplines. Researchers from all ECU Schools will share their work, offering a valuable opportunity to learn about new developments, support fellow researchers, and build new connections across the University.

A highlight of the day will be a panel discussion exploring ‘The use of Artificial Intelligence in HDR supervision, scholarly writing and review, and wider research activities.’
