Melbourne-based pianist Charlotte Roberts is joined by radiant violinist Rianah McInnes and dynamic cellist Alyish Jorgensen for an afternoon celebrating the remarkable voices of women in chamber music. The program features Louise Farrenc's spirited Piano Trio No. 1 in E-flat Major, Op. 33, alongside two masterpieces by Clara Schumann: her expressive Variations on a Theme by Robert Schumann, Op. 20 and the passionate Piano Trio in G minor, Op. 17. Completing the program is Aftermath by Australian composer Emily Sheppard, bringing a contemporary perspective to this rich and compelling musical journey.Date
