Topics will include:

• maintaining firebreaks
• reducing fuel loads
• permits and rules for burning off
• planning a safer backyard burn
• cultural and cool burning practices
• important contacts and seasonal dates
There will be a community Q&A, an information stall and a free BBQ dinner cooked by local Rural Fire Brigades.

Property owners, landlords and renters are encouraged to attend.
Presented with representatives from Queensland Fire Department, Cape York Catchments, Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, local Rural Fire Brigades and local Ranger groups.
