How to Thrive for Defence Families, is a positive, proactive and strengths-based wellbeing education program designed to help Defence families build practical coping skills, resilience, confidence and connection with others who understand the unique experiences of Defence life.Physical fitness can be a core focus of Defence life, this course offers the skills to prioritise and strengthen our mental fitness to promote positive wellbeing in all aspects of our life.
BCG will be providing slow cooker meals (17:00-18:00) and babysitting.
* 12th August: 2 Hour face to face at BCG (17:30-19:30) Belonging
* 19th August: 1 Hour online/ at BCG Tech set up and E Learning Assistance (18:00-19:00 for remaining sessions)
* 26th August 1 Hour workshop- Engagement
* 2nd September 1 Hour workshop- Accountability
* 9th September 1 Hour workshop- Compassion
* 16th September 1 Hour workshop- Optimism
* 23rd September 1 Hour workshop- Nurture
* there is flexibility for you to attend the face to face and then continue online to help you access content.
