Experience an unforgettable evening of original Kimberley music under the stars as Mabu Nurlu Buru (Good Song Country) brings together three outstanding First Nations singer-songwriters, each with their own unique voice, stories and connection to Country.Representing Broome/Djarindjin, Saltwater Kin blend rich harmonies, heartfelt storytelling and contemporary sounds, and are currently in the studio recording their highly anticipated debut album.
From Derby/Broome, Stellar Moon & the Dark Knights deliver a powerful blend of soul, blues and roots, creating performances that are heartfelt, uplifting and deeply connected to people and place. Following the release of her debut album Phases, Stellar Moon is currently recording her second album.
Representing Fitzroy Crossing/Halls Creek, Bart Marr & the Now or Never Boys bring high-energy country rock infused with Kimberley heart and humour. Fresh from the studio earlier this year, they'll be celebrating the release of their debut single on the night.
Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Shinju Hub at Town Beach, this free community concert promises a warm Kimberley welcome, great music, delicious food, a fully stocked bar and an evening of connection through song.
Entry is free, however registrations are essential as numbers are limited.
