We are thrilled to have Sh Hamza Karamali present his Why Islam is True course as an intensive in Melbourne.Why Islam is True is a critical-thinking approach to Islam in which Muslims don’t just learn what to believe, but why they should believe it and how they can develop friendships with people who disagree with them and engage them in intelligent and thoughtful conversations about their faith.
It is based on the same rational arguments that the Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) used to show why Islam is true. These arguments are in the Quran and our scholars developed them into the most powerful arguments for religious belief on the planet. They are found in the most authoritative classical scholarly works of Quranic exegesis (tafsir), legal theory (usul al-fiqh), theology (kalam), Islamic logic (mantiq), and other Islamic sciences.
Why Islam is True expresses these arguments in the language of modern discourse and applies them to contemporary issues today.
