Research and statistics tell us that up to 10% of cases of child sexual abuse involve a female perpetrator.In this webinar, Safeguarding Training Australia will facilitate a conversation with survivor advocate, Kade Hunter, as featured in the ABC Podcast – The Favourite.
Kade experienced grooming, sexual abuse, emotional abuse and coercive control from their trusted female teacher; starting in primary school, and continuing into secondary school and adulthood. Despite complaints being raised, action was not taken in response to concerning behaviors and ongoing low-level concerns, until Kade reported the crimes as a young adult, resulting in the teacher pleading guilty.

• The challenges in recognising and responding to harmful behaviour by females
