Common Nonsense is a musical journey through the strange world we all share — sometimes rebellious, sometimes reflective, sometimes wildly celebratory. Expect songs that will make you laugh, dance, sing along, pause for thought and leave with a little more hope than you arrived with.
Drawing from folk traditions, alternative rock and contemporary songwriting, VGmates weave together English and Russian lyrics with an eclectic palette of sounds — from soaring Irish whistles and hypnotic electronic textures to intimate acoustic moments and powerful full-band arrangements.
Like the cogs of a steampunk machine, every instrument and every voice has its place. Individually unexpected, together they create something uniquely alive.
