Join the Latrobe City Business Chamber for the next event in our Meet Your MP series, featuring Danny O'Brien MP, Leader of The Nationals and Deputy Leader of the Coalition in Victoria, as well as the Member for Gippsland South.First elected to the Victorian Parliament in 2015, Danny currently serves as Shadow Minister for Roads and Roads Safety, Shadow Minister for Regional Development and Liveability, and Shadow Minister for Emergency Services.
Before entering Parliament, Danny worked as a journalist, senior political adviser and public policy specialist, including roles with the Australian Government, the agriculture sector and regional development organisations. His professional experience spans communications, infrastructure policy, regional development and primary industries.
Born and raised in Gippsland, Danny is a passionate advocate for regional Victoria and is committed to ensuring communities have the infrastructure, services and opportunities they need to thrive.
