Supporting Landcare Volunteers to Lead with Confidence
About
Governance for Landcare & Volunteer NRM CommitteesGood governance matters, but for many volunteer committees it can also feel overwhelming, confusing or high pressure, particularly when navigating growing organisational responsibilities.
This session is designed to create a supportive, practical and judgement-free space for Landcare and volunteer NRM committees to come together, build governance confidence and strengthen the way they work as a team.
Facilitated by long-term Landcarer and facilitator Kim Boswell from The Forever Agenda, the workshop recognises that governance is not about being perfect or knowing everything already. It is about building shared understanding, growing literacy and creating healthy organisations that support both people and purpose.
Importantly, the workshop is designed for whole committees to participate together. Governance works best when Boards and committees build a shared understanding collectively, rather than relying on one or two people to hold all the knowledge and responsibility.
