Each year, the Year 12 Music students at Pimlico State High School choose a charity to support through our annual Charity Benefit Concert. In 2026, they have chosen Mummy's Wish.
Join us on Friday 16 October for a special evening of music at the Denise Glasgow Performing Arts Centre as our students come together to perform, raise awareness and help make a genuine difference for families affected by cancer.
Over the years, the concert has supported organisations including Ambulance Wish Queensland, QENDO, Brighter Lives and Feel the Magic.
About Mummy's Wish -
Mummy’s Wish supports Australian mums diagnosed with cancer who are raising young children, helping families navigate the practical and emotional challenges that come with treatment.
Through personalised support, practical assistance, counselling, family resources and special initiatives such as Comfort Bears with recordable hearts, Mummy’s Wish helps mums remain connected with their children during an incredibly difficult time.
Their mission is simple but powerful: to help take some of the pressure away so that Mum can focus on what matters most — being Mum.
Mummy’s Wish is a program of Rare Cancers Australia and supports families across Australia, regardless of the type of cancer a mum is facing.
Funds raised through this event will help Mummy’s Wish continue providing comfort, understanding and practical support to mums with cancer and the children who need them.
