Blackadder

Black adder (Vipera Berus): a species of venomous snake widespread throughout much of Europe.

Blackadder (Schemingus opportunisticus): a kindly, altruistic Lord of the Realm - frequently found in the court of Queen Elizabeth the first - but surrounded by fools, fops, and flakes.
