Join us for the second workshop in our Let Them Eat Cake crochet series — a relaxed, welcoming morning where we’ll learn the timeless art of the granny square, while enjoying a little creativity, connection and, of course… cake!
Whether you joined us for our first beginner workshop or you’re completely new to granny squares, you’re very welcome.
🧶 What You’ll Learn
We’ll take you through the basics step-by-step and create beautiful granny squares using simple techniques, including:
♥️ Chain and slip stitch
♥️ Double crochet
♥️ Working into spaces
♥️ Changing colours
♥️ Working in rounds
♥️ Joining granny squares
♥️ Finishing and weaving in ends
You’ll leave with the skills and confidence to keep making granny squares at home and turn them into all sorts of beautiful projects.
