Box Jelly Theatre Co. are back and excited to present the dynamic four-day drama workshop during the second week of the September school holidays, recommended for school aged children from ages 10 and up!These workshops are brought to you by the Regional Arts Development Fund and Cook Shire Council.
Through interactive activities and hands-on experience, young participants will dive into the world of theatre, discovering the joy of self-expression, building confidence, and enhancing teamwork skills. This fun and engaging workshop is the perfect opportunity for children to explore their creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Each day from 9am - 3pm at the Cooktown Shire Hall
Light refreshments will be provided, BYO lunch and water bottles.
$25.00 per child for the full 4 day program!
Sessions will include - Acting games and exercises (e.g., mime, storytelling, character creation), Improvisation games (e.g., freeze tag, story building), Voice and diction exercises, Rehearsal for the short play, Character development and scene work, Stage blocking and movement and Costume and prop exploration.
Spaces are limited - Registration is essential!
When you book for one workshop, you book for all four.
