Introduction to Auslan

Have you ever wanted to learn another language?Celebrate Adult Learners' Week at your local library, and dive into the world of Auslan (Australian Sign Language).
Join us at Thornlie Library for an Introduction to Auslan. The session will include one hour of Deaf Awareness Training, and one hour of learning basic Auslan. Attendees will learn about deaf culture, communication tips, beginner-level signs, and understanding the deaf/hard-of-hearing community from a Deaf presenter, who will be supported by an interpreter.

Participants must meet the advertised age requirements.
