Hide + Seek Presents 2026

Hide+Seek Presents is an all-ages series of high-quality music, literature and storytelling experiences presented across Bacchus Marsh, Ballan and Blackwood throughout November 2026. Featuring acclaimed touring artists alongside local creatives, the program encourages audiences of all ages to connect, participate and engage with the arts. It strengthens audience development, creative participation and presenter capacity across Moorabool Shire, while serving as an important bridge to Hide+Seek Festival 2027 and supporting the long-term sustainability of regional arts and culture.

A poetry salon featuring poetic duets, live music and literary performance, co-curated by Thabani Tshuma and Georgia Kartas.

In this special event, our co-hosts curate a selection of poetic duets, live music and literary performance at a salon to remember.

Join Emilie Zoey Baker and Marieke Hardy for an evening celebrating words, stories, and human experiences. Better Off Said: Eulogies for the Living and the Dead is a spoken-word art salon where four guests share “The words I wish I’d said”, and a special Living Eulogy honours someone or something still here to be celebrated. 

With live music and thoughtful reflections by exceptional writers and storytellers, this salon is a celebration to usher in renewal as the seasons change.

Sunday 22 November 2026, 11am - 12pm yarn and workshop (free); 2pm - 3.30pm concert

Blackwood Community Hall, Byres Rd, Blackwood

Regional Arts Victoria and Songlines Aboriginal Music have partnered up to deliver Songlines Live & Local, a workshop and live performance event combo which supports regional community presenters to host and showcase First Nations artists, music and culture. Featuring Dungala Baimi, Leo Whyman and Canisha. 

This event is designed to build connections between creative organisations and Indigenous creatives in the local community; develop the confidence and capacity of community presenters to program Indigenous artists by delivering cultural awareness training; create professional performance opportunities for regional Indigenous artists, and for everyone to come together to celebrate with a great night of deadly live music performance.
