Fawcett Hall Community Thank You Afternoon
About
Please join us for a special afternoon as we recognise and thank the organisations, businesses, agencies, volunteers and community groups that have stood alongside Fawcett Hall and our community throughout recovery from the Longwood Bushfires.More than eight months on from the January fires, this afternoon is an opportunity to come together and acknowledge the extraordinary partnerships that have helped our community recover.
The afternoon will include:
A picnic lunch catered by Grant Street Grocer
Music by Bev and Leigh Fraser
The unveiling of the Fawcett Hall Recovery Partners Plaques
A short official program recognising those who have contributed to our community's recovery
Since January, Fawcett Hall has worked alongside volunteers, community groups, service organisations, local businesses, recovery agencies and government departments to coordinate practical support for bushfire-affected landowners and residents.
Together, these partnerships have delivered funding, donated equipment and supplies, volunteer labour, meals, fencing support, clean-up assistance, wellbeing programs, community events and countless other acts of generosity.
This afternoon is simply our opportunity to bring everyone together and say thank you.
This is a free event; however, bookings are essential to assist us with catering.
Kindly supported by Foundation Murrindindi.
