The current St John's Anglican Church dates only to 1955, which is the youngest building to host a Riches & Wood concert so far! Nevertheless, the original timber church was constructed in 1888 and used until it was replaced due to it being too small for the size of the congregation. The dark and slightly imposing exterior of the present building conceals a lovely light and airy timber interior with a great acoustic for chamber music.
