WSET Level 2 in Wines Training

This course teaches students to taste and describe wine using the WSET Level 2 Systematic Approach to Tasting Wine ®(SAT) and how environmental factors, grape-growing, winemaking and maturation options influence the style and quality of wines made from eight principal grape varieties from over 70 geographical indications (GIs) around the world. And more.Delivered face to face at Varias in weekly two-hour blocks (6 – 8.00pm) over 8 weeks from Tuesday 29 September until 17 November 2026, with exam on 24 November 2026. Students will get to taste over 40 wines throughout the course. In addition to the face-to-face sessions, it is recommended that students undertake eleven hours of personal study.
Total course costs are discounted to $1,130 (incl GST), with a $250 deposit to be paid up front. A Tax Invoice will be issued for the balance fees that must be paid two weeks prior to the course commencement. Course materials will be provided to you once deposit has been paid to enable preparation.
