Get involved in collective giving, make a big difference, and have fun doing it - with YoungImpact!
YoungImpact is a program for young people aged 6-18 yrs to learn about collective giving and make a difference to Western Australian charities and the communities they serve.
The program consists of two 2.5hour sessions - Launch Day (September) and Grant Day (October) - with one month in between for participants to test out their fundraising ideas and raise money.
The overall aim is to teach young people about collective giving and philanthropic decision-making, while encouraging a fun and social approach to fundraising and learning. The collective funds raised are awarded to a WA charity voted for by the YoungImpacters on Grant Day.
DATES AND LOCATIONS
Launch Day will be held at Earthwise (315 Bagot Road, Subiaco) on Sunday 13th September from 3 - 5:30pm
Grant Day will be held at Beehive Montessori School (2 Curtin Avenue, Mosman Park) on Sunday 25th October from 3 - 5:30pm
*While it's expected that participants will attend both sessions, we understand that other commitments may take precedence or last minute schedule changes happen. If this is the case, we still encourage you to register and we will support participants with take-home information so they can still complete the tasks.
