Public Transport Information - FORUM

Lou Nicholson MP, Independent Member for Finniss, is inviting residents to share their experiences accessing information about public and community transport services as part of a new research project being undertaken through the South Australian Parliamentary Internship Program. This is the first phase of Lou Nicholson's advocacy for a significant increase in regional public transport investment and a modern, connected network that supports independence, participation, access to services and economic opportunity across Finniss.

Third-year Adelaide University student Grace Hart has joined the Finniss Electorate Office as part of the 2026 Parliamentary Internship Program, a partnership between the South Australian Parliament and South Australian universities that enables students to undertake research projects with real community impact.

Grace's project will investigate how residents across Finniss access information about public and community transport services, identify barriers and information gaps, and explore practical ways to make transport information easier to find and use. Improving access to public transport remains a key priority for Ms Nicholson and the project will help inform future advocacy on behalf of the community.

The forum will provide an opportunity for community members to learn more about the project and share their experiences accessing information about public and community transport services across the region.
