NETBALL WITH A PURPOSE
SUMMIT Sports Club is proud to launch our INAUGURAL OUT-OF-SEASON CLUB NETBALL CARNIVAL IN 2026!
Held at the end of the year, after local club netball seasons have finished, this carnival will bring teams together for a fun, competitive and community-focused day of netball.
This year’s Carnival, proudly delivered in partnership with Instinct Netball Club, is about bringing our wider netball community together — both on and off the court.

While we love the competition, the most important part of this carnival is GIVING BACK.
Each year, SUMMIT Sports Club will proudly select a LOCAL CAUSE, CHARITY OR COMMUNITY ORGANISATION to support, with proceeds from team entry fees donated directly to our chosen cause.
Our vision is to create something much bigger than an annual netball tournament. We want this event to make a genuine difference in our local community and give players, families, clubs, volunteers and supporters the opportunity to contribute to something bigger than the game we love.
OUR 2026 CAUSE
This year, our chosen recipient comes from within our very own netball community at our home association, Pimpama United Netball Association (PUNA).
Her name is Tia.
Tia is a young member of Instinct Netball Club who is facing an incredibly difficult battle after her cancer has returned.
Netball is her life. It is where she plays, competes, connects with her teammates and does what she loves.
But right now, Tia has had to step away from the game she loves to face a much bigger fight.
Instead of pulling on her netball dress and taking the court alongside her teammates, she is now putting all of her strength and determination into fighting cancer.
Tia is connected to Instinct Netball Club, Pimpama United Netball Association and the wider netball community that surrounds our sport.
One of SUMMIT's most important values is FAMILY, and family isn't defined by the logo on your uniform or the club you play for.
When one member of our netball family is facing a battle like this, we believe our community should stand beside them.
The proceeds from this year's carnival will be donated to Tia and her family to help support them with the expenses and challenges they may face as they navigate this journey together.
We will share more about Tia and her family at a later Time.
For one day, we want clubs to come together, compete hard, enjoy the game we all love and remember that there is something far more important than the final score.
We will play because right now, she can't.
We will come together because no family should have to face a fight like this alone.
