Pointless!

Is a comedy built upon a single question: what would happen to the characters in a story if they could no longer remember what story they were in? The answer, the play concludes, is chaos, and what follows is two hours of desperate but doomed attempts to create a story out of nothing. Along the way, Pointless! asks us to reflect on the importance of narrative in our lives - on the deep but sometimes dangerous need we have to attach ourselves to some kind of purpose and direction.
