Troubadour Folk: END of Year CELEBRATION FINALE 2 p.m. Sunday 29 November, in the Auditorium of the Everglades Club, Woy Woy

Felicity Urquhart and Josh Cunningham (Aust) + Peter Hicks and Maurie Mulheron 'When Woody met Pete'

Felicity and Josh
One day, an Australian country music heroine got together with an iconic folk/county guitarist from the Waifs. The result has been sensational. One of the best groups you've ever hear, serving up a fabulous selection of folk/rock/country tunes that make your heart beat faster, get your hips moving and feet stomping, and make you want to sing along.

Their 2026 album was nominated for NUMBER 1 award ARIA AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY ALBUM! The judges said
“Springing forth from our juncture of reflection on the wonder and struggle of everything around us, this collection of songs are a deeply personal appeal to both the hopeful and the hopeless – calling us to hold onto the hope we have and to reach out for the hope we lack.”

+ Peter Hicks and Maurie Mulheron: WHEN WOODY MET PETE: THE SONGS OF WOODY GUTHRIE AND PETE SEEGER

Peter Hicks and Maurie Mulheron present their new show exploring the songs and stories that made Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger two of the most influential musicians of the twentieth century.
The concert features the songs of Woody Guthrie, who inspired generations of singer-songwriters, and Pete Seeger, the most boycotted, banned, blacklisted, and picketed musician in American history. Their chance meeting in 1940 changed the course of musical history sparking the world-wide folk music revival.

You’ll get a chance to hear, and sing along to classic folk songs like If I Had a Hammer, This Land is Your Land, Union Maid, Midnight Special, Turn! Turn Turn! and many more.

Maurie and Peter will take you on a musical journey from the 1930s and 40s, through to the post-war optimism, the blacklists of the frightened ‘fifties, to the protest movements of the 1960s, and beyond.
Two of the best known singer-songwriters in Australian folk music together with one of the best folk/rocks/country duos ever and sure to make this one concert you just won't be able to forget.

It's an amazing line up. All we need is you. Don’t miss this great Celebration Finale concert of the year, whatever you do!
