Jobs Fraser Coast proudly sponsors November Networking Drinks
Jobs Fraser Coast is pleased to sponsor this month's Chamber networking drinks, and we look forward to catching up with local business owners and leaders.
Jobs Fraser Coast is a Queensland Government initiative under the Queensland Workforce Strategy. As the Fraser Coast's Regional Jobs Committee, we cover Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Tiaro, bringing together business, government, community, training providers, industry and high schools to make sure training and employment pathways match local skills needs.
We work closely with government departments and regional partners on workforce initiatives that help local businesses find, train and keep the people they need. Our work includes the Fraser Coast Industry & Careers Showcase, which connects more than 80 exhibitors with students and job seekers; Proud to Have One, which recognises and supports Fraser Coast businesses that take on apprentices and trainees and our All Industry networking events, where employers from every sector connect, share challenges and find solutions together.
If you're facing workforce challenges or want to help build the region's future workforce, come and say hello on the night. We'd love to hear from you.
Proudly supported and funded by the Queensland Government. Your Job. Your Future.

This month, we'd like to thank Hervey Bay Boat Club for supporting the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce and our local business community.
Overlooking the beautiful Great Sandy Straits Marina, with stunning views towards K'gari (Fraser Island), the Hervey Bay Boat Club is one of our region's favourite waterfront destinations for dining, entertainment and social gatherings.
Whether you're catching up with friends over a meal, enjoying cocktails on the waterfront deck or taking in some free live entertainment, there's plenty to enjoy.
But there's more to the Boat Club than great food and beautiful views! From sightseeing, boomnet and twilight cruises to its very own twin cinemas, the club offers a fantastic range of experiences for locals and visitors alike.
With free parking, wheelchair accessibility and a courtesy bus service to help you get there and home again, the Hervey Bay Boat Club makes it easy to enjoy everything on offer.
As a Chamber, we're grateful to local businesses and organisations that support our events and help bring the Hervey Bay business community together.
Thank you, Hervey Bay Boat Club, for your support of the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce!
Everyone is welcome! Whether you're planning your next business catch-up, a family outing or a relaxing afternoon overlooking the marina, we encourage you to support this wonderful local venue.

Supporting Local Charity – Mens Walk & Talk Hervey Bay

Sometimes, something as simple as a walk, a conversation and good company can make a real difference.
Men’s Walk & Talk Hervey Bay is a local community group supporting men’s physical, social and mental wellbeing through regular walks, social connection and involvement in community and charitable events.
What began five years ago with just six men on their first walk has grown into an incredible local community — with more than 700 men taking part and over 10,000 walk attendances along the way.
There’s no pressure and no need to book. Whether you’re looking to get moving, meet some new people, have a yarn or simply get out of the house for a while, new faces are always welcome.
Tuesday afternoons: 5pm for a 5:15pm walk
Thursday mornings: 5:45am for a 6am walk
