Our Business Sponsor:

Fraser Coast Mates is a community-led organisation dedicated to improving mental health and wellbeing across the Fraser Coast, bringing people together through connection, conversation and practical support.

Founded by local community members who recognised the need for greater mental health awareness and stronger support networks, Fraser Coast Mates is helping break down the stigma surrounding mental health and encouraging people to look out for themselves and one another.

Through community events, education and initiatives such as their Little Black Book of local support services, Everyday Mates stories and access to free, confidential counselling, the organisation is making mental health support more accessible to people throughout our region.

Their message is simple but powerful: mental health matters to everyone, and no one should have to face life's challenges alone.

As a Chamber, we recognise the important role that mental wellbeing plays in our business community. Behind every local business are people, families and teams, and creating a community where people feel connected and supported benefits us all.

We're incredibly grateful to organisations like Fraser Coast Mates that not only contribute to the wellbeing of our region but also support opportunities for our local business community to come together.

Thank you, Fraser Coast Mates, for your generous support of the Hervey Bay Chamber of Commerce and for the meaningful work you do throughout our community.

We encourage our members to learn more about their initiatives, access the resources available and help spread the word about the important support they provide.
