Nominations for trials for South Coast Rep teams taking part part in the 2027 QLD State Age Championships:
U13's - Junior State Age 2-6 July 2027 (Sunshine Coast NA)
YOU MUST ATTEND BOTH TRIAL DATES
U13’s (born 2014)
TRIAL 1 Tuesday 13 October - 6pm - 8.30pm
TRIAL 2 Tuesday 20 October - 6pm - 8.30pm
Venue: South Coast Netball Courts
There is a $20 non-refundable fee for trialing and will be charged as part of the nomination process.
All players are asked to bring a drink bottle and towel. Players are asked NOT to wear rep/club uniform tops or bummers, but instead to wear plain tees/singlets and bummers/shorts.
Players should aim to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to trial session times for registration and warmup. Please note that ALL players nominating for South Coast representative teams are expected to attend selection trials. If unable to attend you still must register/pay. A medical certificate MUST be provided, if a player is unable to trial due to injury or illness. Contact us if unable to attend for any reason.
South Coast Selection Guidelines
Eligibility
As per South Coast Netball's eligibility requirements all triallists in U12-14 age groups must have played in the year preceeding Saturday club compeition. Further details on eligibility can be found in South Coast By Laws Section 3.
JSA Accomodation
South Coast has made the decision for 2027 that players/parents will source their own accommodation.
Some key factors in this decision include:

Reducing rep fees for all

The work toll on managers/coaches to oversee/feed players

Difficulty finding accom for 60+ people

Child Safety law changes that make rooming configuration challenging
We understand that we have not yet held trials so teams are not confirmed. However, it may be wise to hold some accomodation.
