📺 Countdown was the longest-running music program in Australian television history. Created by Ian “Molly” Meldrum and a team of visionary ABC-TV producers, it ran from 1974 to 1987, helping launch and propel the careers of countless Australian and international superstars, including ABBA, Blondie and Cyndi Lauper.

So dust off those dancing shoes, turn up the volume and come relive the era of big hair, bigger hits and Molly telling us to “Do yourself a favour!” 🎶
