St Francis in the City: Melbourne Street Retreat (SOLD OUT)
Location
Saint Francis' Pastoral Centre
About
St Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of ecology and animals, lived a committed life of radical poverty. 800 years after his death, his example continues to invite us to consider what justice and service can mean and to experience the world around us in a different light.
Hosted by Catholic Social Services Victoria, this mini-street retreat will offer an opportunity to see the CDB of Melbourne through new eyes, inspired by the ways of St Francis of Assisi. We will have time for input, observation, stillness and sharing, facilitated by Michael McGirr, Mission Facilitator of Caritas Australia.
All are welcome.
