SEPWA Condingup-Beaumont Field Day

SEPWA’s Condingup–Beaumont Field Day returns on Friday 11 September, with a full day of paddock-based discussion, trials and shared experience across the district.Starting at Kyarran Farming at Condingup, the group will work its way through to Beaumont, stopping at a range of trial sites along the way.
The program brings together growers, agronomists, researchers and industry to look at what is in the ground and discuss some of the production decisions and opportunities relevant to the eastern Esperance Port Zone.
Topics across the day include a local grower’s experience purchasing Chinese tractors; early-sown winter and spring wheat, barley, lentils and oats; SEPWA’s GRDC N Banking vs N Demand trial two years on; SEPWA’s GRDC Milling Oat Variety & Agronomy Trials; SEPWA wheat and canola variety trials; discussion of Syngenta’s Victrato as a crown rot control option; field pea NEM inoculant options; canola fungal disease management; and CBH On-Farm Trials.
The day starts at 9.00 am at Kyarran Farming, Meyer Road, Condingup, and concludes at Beaumont Hall with a BBQ provided by Rabobank.
