A 6-week hands-on course for small farm owners to learn to grow food organically. The course consists of 6 two-hour sessions, each delivered on-farm at Evergrow Farm, Little Plain. This course covers:- How to prepare your soil
- Plan your food garden
- Manage pests naturally without synthetic chemicals
- Improve drought preparedness
The course is delivered by Alison & Steve at Evergrow Farm and is ideal for landholders on small farms (5 acres or more), beginners or those wanting to be more self-sufficient on their small farm.
All participants receive a professional grade seed raising set up.
Morning tea provided.
Evergrow Farm is located at Little Plain, 15 minutes west of Inverell via the Gwydir Highway.
Thanks to funding from FRRR, this course is $35 per person. Usually, the course is $180 per person.
