Finish Term 3 with an afternoon of workshops led by three fantastic guest instructors and industry artists from Sydney and Melbourne.

Blake Appelqvist (they/them) – Sydney
Mishaela Taekema (she/her) – Melbourne
Shianne Quigg (she/her) – Sydney

Both Blake and Shianne grew up dancing in Canberra before going on to pursue careers in the performing arts. We’re thrilled to welcome them back to Canberra to share their experience, knowledge and industry insight with our local dancers.

Hip Hop Intermediate — 10-18yrs | Blake
Lyrical Advanced — 13-25yrs | Shianne

Jazz Funk — 6–10yrs | Shianne

Industry Q&A - FREE
Open to students interested in pursuing a career in the performing arts. Parents are welcome to attend.

Singing Basics for Dancers — Open (min 10yrs) | Blake (No experience needed)
Acro Intermediate — 8-18yrs | Mishaela (must be able to execute back or front walkover)

5:00pm–6:00pm
Vocal Workshop for Singers — Open (min 13yrs) | Blake
Contemporary Intermediate — 10-18yrs | Mishaela
