About
The Wirrina Music Camp is 3 days of structured classes with experienced tutors in acoustic music, plus informal evening sessions. Expect influences of and skills from bluegrass, old time, folk, blues and more.Typical instruments: Violin/fiddle (including cello, viola & other bowed strings), mandolin & mandolin family, guitar, dobro, ukulele, 5 string banjo, bass - bowed or plucked, all kinds welcome including ukulele bass, double bass, electric bass etc. Any acoustic instruments welcome.

Learning involves group work, individual tutor consultation, demonstrations & talks, as well as structured evening jams and preparation for performing in a group at Wirrina Bluegrass & Acoustic Roots Festival on weekend.
Aimed at adult string musicians; younger learners welcome with supervision (please contact us if you'd like to bring a family group). Camp on site (recommended!) or there's holiday accommodation in the district.
The price for the camp, including all instruction and activities is $355. (This does not include accommodation).
Discount price for booking before October 24th: $300.
Both prices include a $75 non-refundable deposit.
