Run for Margot

Join us for Week 1 of our Spring Run Club to Help Margot Fight Leukaemia!

Where: Meet us at the Semaphore Jetty for the run club component followed by coffee, breakfast and chats at Hapi Daze (Semaphore Road). 

What: Join in on a walk, 5km or 10km loop. In the spirit of Margot's bright and sparkly personality we enourgae you to join us in dressing up in your brigtest colours, tutu's and glitter to make the peninsular shine!

About Margot's Fight:
On Saturday, 15 August 2026, beautiful Margot Whinnen’s life changed in a way no five-year-old should ever have to experience. In the early hours of Saturday morning, Margot was diagnosed with leukaemia at just five years old.

She is the sweetest, kindest little soul, with a personality that lights up every room she walks into. She loves unicorns, sparkles, her family, and playing lacrosse… always with a tutu on, of course.

Her Aunty Charlotte and Grandad Mike have a strong connection to the PEAQ community and go over and above for those around them. So PEAQ family, this is our chance to wrap our arms around the Whinnen's and show the power of community. More than anything, this fundraiser is about surrounding a little girl and her family with love, support, and a community that refuses to let them face this alone by giving them a little breathing room during an incredibly frightening time.
