Parents and teachers! Australia's social media ban for under 16s has been in effect for less than a year. Are we successfully protecting our children, or just delaying the inevitable?Celebrate Mental Health Week at your local library, and learn how to prepare your children for the digital world.
Join us at Thornlie Library for a free and informative talk, presented by HelpingMinds. This workshop will explore both the positive and negative impacts of social media on young people's mental health, signs that a young person is being negatively affected by social media, and current social media restrictions and their implications. This event also aims to equip participants with practical strategies and tips to promote healthy social media use among young people.
