Rob Scott is an author and poet. In 2015 he received a Masters of Research from Victoria University, Melbourne, with a dissertation titled “The History of Australian Haiku and the Emergence of a Local Accent,” later presenting his research to the Second International Haiku Conference in Kraków, Poland. His haiku have been published widely and anthologized in A New Resonance 10, three Red Moon anthologies, Haiku 21, and Haiku Down Under Anthology. Scott published two chapbooks in Wim Lofvers’s Radijs/Radish series in the Netherlands as well as two full-length collections, both in 2016: Out of Nowhere: Haiku and Senryu and Down to the Wire: Footy Haiku. He is former president and current vice-president of the Australian Haiku Society and convener of the Fringe Myrtles Haiku Group in his hometown of Melbourne.
