A talk from guest speaker Dr Avedis Ekmejian, followed by a Q&A segment.Dr Avedis Ekmejian is an interventional cardiologist and researcher at Royal North Shore Hospital and the University of Sydney, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease. Proud of his Armenian heritage and passionate about contributing to the Armenian community, he will discuss coronary disease – its past, present and future, exploring how our understanding and treatment of heart disease has evolved, the importance of recognising cardiovascular risk, and what new advances may mean for patients and families.
